Ryan M. Betzina, D.C.
Dr. Ryan Betzina has always been intrigued by the inner workings of a machine. For most of his life, Dr. Ryan’s interest in cars and motorcycles has inspired him to ask questions and search for answers. It came naturally to him but he was always driven to find the part that was broken and then remove it, study how it worked and then fix it.
Dr. Ryan was instilled with a drive to succeed and to always push himself to the limit. He was raised locally in the south metro by a single mom and she was always there to help point him in the right direction. Growing up in Eagan and Rosemount, Dr. Ryan became grounded in the community but always looked for adventure. As a child he would take several trips to Seattle, Washington where he learned to backpack and be all “outdoorsy”. He enjoyed the open space and the freedom that the wilderness offered.
Dr. Ryan enjoys playing sports, especially when he was younger. Actively involved in football, basketball and baseball, Dr. Ryan was always on the move pushing his body every step of the way. Now he spends time playing volleyball, cycling and weightlifting. Once as a teenager, he was afflicted with a back injury and sought chiropractic treatment for help in pain management. His treatment and his need to understand how things work, coupled with his logical and scientific outlook led him to seek a career in Chiropractic Medicine. It was a natural progression, to him anyway.
Now practicing in Lakeville, MN Dr. Ryan is always there for his patients and his community. Because he enjoyed sports as a child, Dr. Ryan wanted to donate his time to the children of the community and provide them the same opportunity, as he had to enjoy playing on a team. As a result Dr. Ryan has coached soccer each summer for the past couple of years, spending time with 4-6 year-olds, teaching them the basics and helping them pursue a healthy and active lifestyle.
Today Dr. Ryan aims to educate his patients about Chiropractic and other natural solutions to common health problems in order to motivate them to take a more active and responsible role in restoring and maintaining their own health, as well as the people around them. As a chiropractor, he understands that although patients may be diagnosed with the same condition, they respond very differently to treatments. For this reason, he strives to tailor a specific plan of action to meet individual needs, goals & unique medical and physical condition.
